B I O G R A P H Y

Born in Delianuova, Calabria IT in 1950, Giuseppe Tripodi is a private physician, but curious painter. During his youth in Liceo Classico, Tripodi was mesmerized by his studies of Greek and Roman art, but its impact never came to physical fruition until 2010. In his younger years, he became an MD at the University of Messina, then departed for the University of Pittsburgh where he specialized in General Vascular Surgery. After achieving MD FACS, Tripodi moved to Connecticut, where he continues his practice today with the addition of letting as much color out to compensate. Throughout his paintings, much “satire” is stamped with hands showing technical ability of a surgeon than that of an artist. He currently resides in Middlebury, Connecticut.
